Eight Peak Mountain, north of Tolo Harbour, attains a height of 1857 feet. From Tolo Harbour it extends southwest with elevations varying from 1300 to 1500 feet until it reaches its highest point in the splendid range Tai Mo Shan, which has a height of 3000 feet.
It then decreases in elevation to a spur to the north, Castle Peak, which is 1806 feet high but lower in the direction of the southern arm of Deep Bay, in which there are lofty hills rising to an elevation of 1200 feet.
Besides these two main ranges, there are cross ranges which divide the watershed between Deep Bay and Tolo Harbour. The hills in some valleys are lost in the mass.
